Ellipsos Quartet proposes here a meeting between the saxophone, which is reminiscent of the stamp

of the organ, and of the vocal quartet so illustrating the archetypal Art of Fugue, through the directory of

sacred music, music gospel or works for organ who characterize so well The Musics of Churches. 

Recognized for their innovative, quality arrangements to see unique, Ellipsos has fun with happiness of

making be next to musics of yesterday and today.

The Quartet Ellipsos makes us discover the saxophone tinged with Blues.

Thanks to its round trip free Paris New York it boards us from a bank to the other one,

through a program tinged with blues, dreamlike and energetic.

From Isaac Albeniz to Thierry Escaich, of the saraband in the tango, the public travels during more than one hour during this recital in the well-paced and dance themes.

We shall find in particular several of these musics

in the very first album of the Quatuor Ellipsos, "Medina"(2007).

Mozart and Beethoven formed, with Haydn, the first School of Vienna,

which we qualify as " classic period " today.

But the Saxophone, invented some 150 years later (!), was not able to, therefore,

to cross the path of these three wonderful composers....

While would have been able to give this fictitious meeting between the Saxophone

and these geniuses of the classical music?

An extraordinary journey which imagined here the Quatuor Ellipsos....
